Robinson Construction built a diesel service center with additional office space, remedying drainage challenges on the site.
The Challenge
Hogan Trucking was in need of an extensive diesel service center and additional office space. The location for such a renovation project contained several drainage issues due to the topography of the area that caused water to pool and flow around the building.
The Solution
Robinson Construction put in a bid to completely renovate the site. To address the drainage issues, Robinson proposed transforming the topography of the area, building retaining walls and installing underground piping. Other renovations included utilizing an existing office warehouse structure to build the needed diesel service center that would also contain additional office space.
The Outcome
Through the bidding process, Robinson Construction was selected by Hogan Trucking and Owasso Land Trust to transform an existing office warehouse into an operational diesel service center that would also contain additional offices. The location required extensive topographic alterations in order to ensure the proper drainage of water due to the slope of the site. In addition to building the diesel service station, Robinson Construction installed retaining walls, installed underground piping, reconfigured and renovated offices, and paved and/or graveled several acres — all on schedule and on budget.
